"CODEX ATANICUS"

Un cinéma de culte non apte à n'importe quel esprit ou estomac. Trois courtsmétrages bizarres, rares, extravagants, violents, grotesques, déchirés, scandaleux et érotiques.
Metaminds et Metabodies se déroule dans l'antichambre de l'enfer, à ce côté-ci du miroir par lequel, un jour, ces êtres abominables entreront et conquerront la Terre, en accomplissant la prophétie de l'Empereur Jaune. Morfing est un voyage délirant dans le sous-monde quasi-infernal du cinéma indépendant. Welcome to Spain est une descente à un enfer total où ceux qui n'ont été pas invités au banquet mangent des clous oxydés. Metaminds et Metabodies, Morfing et Welcome to Spain conforment, précédés par une laiteuse introduction de l'actrice Arantxa Peña, le CODEX ATANICUS.
Si Carlos Atanes n'était pas si accompli et sympathique nous penserions qu'il s'agit d'un fou dangereux, puisque seulement d'un esprit malade peuvent surgir les fantômes qui prennent vie dans cette trilogie de courtsmétrages underground, inclassables et maudits (1995-1999), opportunément réunis dans cette sélection. Maudits, oui: à peine vus en son temps, ils ont été seulement projetés dans des espaces alternatifs et ils ont été rejetés par toutes les télévisons dont ils ont été proposées. Par exemple, Welcome to Spain a été répudié par plus de 30 festivals internationaux.
Cependant, depuis qu'ils ont été présentés comme un conjoint, la réaction du public et de la critique a été presque unanime aux deux côtés de l'Atlantique: Il faut voir CODEX ATANICUS qui est déjà devenu un film de culte. Les raisons sont plusieurs: le récital de la chanteuse écorchée, le jet fœtus, l'orgie intolérable dans l'escalier, le goûter avec des pieds de porc, les dialogues hilarantes et, naturellement, parce que c’est la première scène de bukkake tournée dans un film non pornographique (et la première tournée en Espagne). Une séquence qui a été systématiquement censurée dans Internet et que, à la fin, on peut voir entièrement dans ce DVD-ci.
Un excentrique festin audiovisuel dirigé à gourmets du cinéma bizarre.
