LE DERNIER FILM DE SCIENCE-FICTION : "PROXIMA"

UN VOYAGE INITIATIQUE AUX ÉTOILES : "PROXIMA" (LONG-MÉTRAGE, DVD)

"PROXIMA"

"An exciting adventure that widely overcomes the plot of the best sci-fi movies."
(Más Allá de la Ciencia)

"Far-reaching indie film combines many great ideas with courage and intelligence: PROXIMA is an endearingly off-beat sci-fi film whose odder moments owe to the visionary can-do determination of Spanish underground director Carlos Atanes."
(Carl J. Schroeder, The Mystical Movie Guide)

"Atanes doesn't get too copy with paying games 'is this or isn't this really happening?' within the film itself. The action is presented pretty much along concrete lines to be taken at face value, which is shocking considering the director's previous work. But it's a succesful new ground he's treading while still retaining a lot of the playfulness of his earlier outré work."

"A sophisticated allegory about the pursuit of an imaginative life."
