Ai tempi di Mussolini, un uomo misterioso si reca in Sicilia alla ricerca del famoso mago britannico Aleister Crowley. Giunto sul posto, scopre che Crowley è scomparso e che confusione e disperazione regnano nell'Abbazia di Thelema (l'abbazia dove è redatto il suo Vero Testamento). Durante il suo soggiorno, apprenderà i principi della Magia Sessuale e lo stile di vita thelemico.
"Perdurabo" rimase nascosto per dodici anni per decisione dello stesso Carlos Atanes. Qualche tempo dopo, Atanes avviò un nuovo progetto cinematografico ispirato al mago: "Aleister Crowley nella Bocca dell'Inferno". Quel film non è mai stato girato, ma la sceneggiatura è stata pubblicata in edizione tascabile nel 2013. Tuttavia, nel corso del tempo, le richieste da parte degli spettatori interessati a vedere la produzione del 2003 sono continuate. Ora, finalmente, Atanes ha deciso di renderla disponibile al pubblico.

"Perdurabo exercises some creative decision-making throughout –not least by electing to film a story about Crowley without him in it, a gutsy decision which pays dividends. It’s also able to achieve an impressive amount of atmosphere, and the filmmaker’s knowledge of the key events and players is impressive. Parts of the dialogue are verbatim Thelemic ritual, and to hear them actually being spoken in the Cefalu farmhouse is actually very eerie; I’ll say it again, I don’t know how they managed to film there without at least some opposition from the Italian authorities, but let’s just say that Crowley’s grotesque painted frescos pay no respect to the fourth wall, and the overall effect is unsettling."
