En tiempos de Mussolini, un hombre misterioso viaja a Sicilia en busca del famoso mago británico Aleister Crowley. Pero al llegar, descubre que Crowley ha desaparecido, y en la Abadía de Thelema (la abadía donde se realiza su Verdadera Voluntad) reinan la confusión y la desesperación. Durante su estancia, conocerá los principios de la Magia Sexual y el estilo de vida thelémico.
"Perdurabo" permaneció oculta durante doce años por decisión propia de Carlos Atanes. Tiempo después, Atanes lanzó un nuevo proyecto cinematográfico inspirado en el mago: "Aleister Crowley en la Boca del Infierno". Esa película nunca se rodó, pero el guion se publicó en edición de bolsillo en 2013. Sin embargo, con el paso del tiempo, no han cesado las peticiones de espectadores interesados en ver la producción de 2003. Ahora, finalmente, Atanes ha decidido ponerla a disposición del público.

"Perdurabo exercises some creative decision-making throughout –not least by electing to film a story about Crowley without him in it, a gutsy decision which pays dividends. It’s also able to achieve an impressive amount of atmosphere, and the filmmaker’s knowledge of the key events and players is impressive. Parts of the dialogue are verbatim Thelemic ritual, and to hear them actually being spoken in the Cefalu farmhouse is actually very eerie; I’ll say it again, I don’t know how they managed to film there without at least some opposition from the Italian authorities, but let’s just say that Crowley’s grotesque painted frescos pay no respect to the fourth wall, and the overall effect is unsettling."
